FAQ:
1. Do you offer layaway?
We are happy to offer layaway! After items have been listed for at least 24 hours, they are available for layaway. Layaway terms are based on item value. Please request length terms. Layaway deposits are non-refundable. No discounts with layaway purchases.
Payments must be made regularly, as scheduled, and we must receive them on or before the day they are due. If more than 2 payments are late or if the layaway is not paid in full by the scheduled end date, the item will be returned to stock and all funds paid to date will be forfeited.
Because layaway items are being taken off the market and held for you for an extended period of time, we do not allow deposits to be transferred to other items. No exchanges, refunds, or credits on layaway deposits.
2. I am not in the United States, will you ship to me?
Yes, we are happy to ship world-wide with the exception of Mexico (due to several stolen packages over time). Please keep in mind, you are responsible for paying any duties/import fees required by your country.
3. Will I have to pay duties/import fees if you ship to me?
If you are located outside of the United States, you will be responsible for paying any duty fees, import cost, or taxes required by your country before delivery. We do not alter the cost of the items to lower your import fees. There is a risk for decline of delivery, or even confiscation of the item. It is not worth the risk.
Unfortunately, we do not have a way of figuring import fees, taxes, or duties for you. Please do research and be aware of those costs before purchasing. We do not offer refunds for refusal to pay these fees.
4. How long will the customs process take?
This varies based on your country. It may take up to 2-3 weeks depending on your country and how quickly import fees and duties are paid. We cannot control delays due to customs delays unfortunately.
5. Do you have a storefront?
1122 & Co was started as a business-to-business company selling primarily to jewelers and other wholesalers for resale, but we stumbled upon a way of selling online directly to the public. Although we do have an office, our location, travel schedule, and frequency of inventory turnover does not allow for us to meet with individuals in person.

6. Do you provide certifications?
In order to keep our prices low, we do not send our items for certifications. From time to time, we purchase items that already have certificates with them. We are graduates from GIA and do evaluations ourselves, and we have over 24 years as buyers/sellers in the jewelry industry.
7. How do you get your items?
Sourcing is our favorite part! We buy from a network of gold buyers, pawn brokers, and estate dealers that we have built up over 24 years in the jewelry industry. We buy in bulk, so we are able to get the lowest prices for quality jewelry.
8. Do you know the history of your items?
Since we buy in bulk, we rarely get to know their history or origins. In most cases, their stories have long been lost by the time we acquire them. In most cases, we do not even know what state they originated. On the rare occasions that we are able to know their stories, we share them in the descriptions of the item to keep the story alive.
9. Do you offer returns?
Returns and exchanges are not accepted, but if you have trouble with your order, please contact us.
10. Do you offer insurance?
We do not insure our items, but we have an insurance company partner that will provide insurance for your purchase. If you wish to use this service, we will be happy to put you in touch with them.
11. Do your items come with a warranty?
Our items do not come with a warranty. Please keep in mind that preloved jewelry may have minor to moderate signs of wear to both the metal and/or the gemstones. We do our best to describe any imperfections, but please expect some wear. Jewelry does require maintenance over time. We do our best to make sure the items are in safe, wearable condition.
12. What do I do if my jeweler will not size my pre-owned ring bought online?
Sadly, we have found that a lot of jewelers do not like to work on items purchased online. Keep in mind, the internet is their competition…. We have an in-house bench jeweler, and we are happy to size items purchased from us. You can send any item back to us for minor repairs, maintenance, and sizing for our regular low repair rates.
